Mental health & wellness education


For patients with chronic illness;
By referral from primary or chronic care

Mental Health & Wellness Education opportunities are offered to patients to enhance life satisfaction and well-being. Through our committed and growing number of volunteer mental health providers and a staff psychiatric nurse practitioner, the Clinic provides:

  • Mental health counseling and treatment
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication
  • Integrated care groups
  • Wellness services (meditation, psycho-educational, support & other groups)

In addition, the Clinic offers health education classes for diabetes, nutrition, smoking cessation, back pain, and other health topics.

The Clinic cannot provide treatment for severe mental illnesses. Please contact the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board for assistance.
